A Kansas University professor emeritus’ traditional Stop Day walking tour of campus is scheduled for May 8. The tour will visit several sites on campus, and will run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday. It is free and open to the public, and people may enter and leave throughout the day. The tour begins at 9 a.m. at the Natural History Museum, 1345 Jayhawk Blvd., on the KU campus, with an event called “Whoso findeth wisdom findeth life,” featuring the architecture of Spooner Hall and the Museum of Natural History. The tour is led by Ted Johnson, professor emeritus of French and Italian. In case of inclement weather, the tour will begin in the portico of Lippincott Hall at 9 a.m.
