Café Shahor Hazak (translation: Strong Black Coffee) is a hip-hop act comprised of four Ethiopian Israeli teens who started their career at an Israeli community youth center. The group's songs offer a reflection of its views on the Israeli conflict and are lively, honest, and filled with hope. Café Shahor Hazak performs all over Israel with leading musicians such as Hadag Nahash and Eli Luzon. They'll visit Lawrence at the invitation of KU's Hillel Association.
