Atlanta's Black Lips have earned a reputation for unpredictable live shows that include vomiting, fireworks, chickens and various acts not suitable for a PG-13 movie. Meanwhile, they have built a fanbase that appreciates their rough convergence of punk, doo-wop, country and rock. The group was cited by The New York times for being the hardest working act at last year's South By Southwest Music Festival, during which they played a dozen shows in three days.
