Listen to our podcast preview of the show. Ah crap. Archetype is breaking up. So they say, at least. Perhaps it’s just an elaborate scam to hype the record they’ve been cooking up for the last couple years. We can certainly hope as much. With lyricist Isaac Diehl planning a posthaste move to Seattle, the venerable Lawrence hip-hop duo—nay, band—is playing a farewell show Saturday at the Jackpot. Diehl and producer Jeremy Nesbitt (a.k.a. Nezbeat) still plan to release the album at some point, but it’s likely to be a posthumous affair.
