Paul Clement served as the 43rd Solicitor General during the Bush administration from June 2005 to June 2008. During that time, he argued in the Supreme Court on behalf of the US government in 49 cases, including Rumsfeld v. Padilla, DC v. Heller, and Gonzales v. Planned Parenthood. Clement will discuss his time as litigator under the Bush administration. He will be interviewed by KU constitutional law professor Stephen McAllister.
