"My name is Pato Banton, and this is my opinion," sings the English reggae singer on his new album "Destination Paradise." From his beginnings as a toaster who guested with the English Beat to his 2007 tour with 311, Banton has been an outspoken reggae presence who promotes themes of self-realization and unity. In recent years he's tackled religious topics and assembled a new band called the Now Generation. The eight-piece dance machine will swing through town tonight with support from local reggae acts 77 Jefferson and The Irietions.
