Since releasing their debut album "Absolutes" on Kansas City's Appeal Records, Seattle rockers Barcelona have signed with Universal Motown and hit the road with Copeland. What began as a solo project three years ago has matured into a melodic rock machine in the style of Mae and/or Brandston. Sharing a string of dates with Barcelona is Meese, a Denver-based band that comes with lots of "next big thing" hype and catchy songs with lots of oohs and aahs. The group has spent time on the road with Colorado buds The Fray, boasting a similarly radio-friendly sound.
