The Lawrence Writers' Collective cordially invites you to an evening of readings on the third floor of Teller's. The event will feature readings by David Ohle, Wayne Propst, Michael Johnson, Mary Klayder, and Denise Low-Weso as well as music by a local band. Donations to support KU graduate student creative writers' attendance at the 2009 Associated Writing Programs Conference will be accepted. A cash bar and hors d'oeuvres will be available. The Lawrence Writers' Collective, Bathtub, aims to unify graduate students within the K.U. creative writing programs and connect them to writers and artists within the community at large. Through participation in the annual A.W.P. conference, the K.C. Literary Festival, ongoing writers' exchanges with other programs and reading series featuring local writers, the collective raises public awareness for the K.U. M.F.A. program and the Lawrence writing community.
