If you've been slacking on the whole global-warming thing, here's a reason to finally get off your ass and protest: expensive beer! That's right, the fear that we all might burn up into little balls of gas is quickly becoming outweighed by the near-term panic of a malting barley shortage. To fend off this dreadful scenario, Lawrence's local Greenpeace chapter is hosting tonight's "Save the Ales" concert to raise awareness of global warming and its effect on the brewing industry. Check out five local acts while writing letters to our representatives and chugging pitchers of globally warmed brew.
