If you've been to Winfield (the Walnut Valley Festival, that is) you probably remember Beppe Gambetta as the easygoing master musician from Italy who captivates crowds with his wit and energy. Gambetta's distinctive sound is a multicultural tapestry of traditional, original and classical songs. His use of unusual tunings on the guitar is his trademark, and his unique style reflects the far-reaching impact of American traditional music on his Italian heritage. After ten CDs, four DVDs, four teaching books, and collaborations with many other top-flight musicians, Gambetta is increasingly known as one of the true innovators of the acoustic guitar.
