Tapes 'n Tapes are a lot like their namesake: a mixed bag of styles that could pack a mixtape with oodles of noodles. Infusing their smarty-pants college rock with offbeat country, polka and blues flavors, the group rode in on a wave of mp3-blog momentum surrounding its debut album "The Loon" and justified the hype with last year's "Walk It Off." The Minneapolis group has performed at Lollapalooza and Coachella and will swing through Lawrence tonight with support from StarTime International rockers Wild Light and Kansas City's The Cherry Tree Parade.
