UPDATE 8/17: Rain has forced tonight's event indoors to the Lied Center. Passion Pit will perform at the scheduled time. KU's Student Union Activities is resurrecting the popular Day on the Hill concept with a twist: Night on the Hill. The free outdoor concert on Campanile Hill will feature Passion Pit, a five-piece electro-pop outfit from Boston. The group's recent album "Manners" fused '80s influences (Prince, New Order) with glitch-pop production and wild melodies that bring to mind Animal Collective, but less scatterbrained. The concert is free for all KU students, faculty, and staff.
