The Rev. Peter J. Gomes of Harvard University will be the visiting scholar in religion April 25-27 at the University of Kansas. In its sixth year, the visiting scholar program brings to Lawrence a renowned theologian or historian for a series of public lectures and workshops. Every program is free and open to the public. He will give a lecture titled “Being Who You Are” at 2 p.m. at the Lied Center.
