Event details

Cincinnati's Ill Poetic (a.k.a. Tim Gmeiner) is a rising producer, lyricist, and mash-up artist. His current RE:DEFINITION tour pairs him with rapper Zone (That Dude) - his partner in the rap group Definition - and DJ Rare Groove. When he wasn't busy making beats for Aesop Rock and Slug and mashing up Outkast with Nine Inch Nails, Ill Poetic recently found time to produce a record called "Aloe Park" for Lawrence's Approach (to be released). He comes highly recommended by Approach and publications like Okay Player and XLR8R, so grab your nice kicks and get ready for a Thursday-wrecking hump night.

Zone (That Dude) - another Cincinnati artist, touring in support of his upcoming Album with DJ Mick Boogie, and featuring Pryslezz, Dwele, Slum Village, Tanya Morgan, and Naledge (Kidz in the Hall). Has previously toured the US, and Nominated for Ohio hip-hop Award "Best New Artist 2008"

DJ Rare Groove - The DJ for the evening. Rare Groove has toured the world, rocking the acclaimed Paid Dues Festival in 2007, as well as touring extensively with indie hip-hop heroes Rhymesayers and Blueprint.
