Event details

Philip Glass is one of the most influential composers of the late 20th century, having cultivated a multi-generational audience for his operas, concertos, and film scores. Recently, his compositions have been featured in the film "The Watchmen," and Nonesuch Records released a 10-disc retrospective box set. Tonight he'll perform past and present pieces on piano with accompaniment from cellist Wendy Sutter and percussionist Mick Rossi. The evening will also function as the DVD release for Scott Hicks' documentary "GLASS: A Portrait of Philip in Twelve Parts."
