Ray Strother, a legendary Democratic political consultant, has worked with candidates at every level -- including Al Gore, Gary Hart, Lloyd Bentsen and Mary Landrieu. He also turned his reputation as the "Godfather of political consultants in the South" into a page- turning memoir called "Falling Up: How A Redneck Helped Invent Political Consultants."
