Girlyman is a coed acoustic trio from Atlanta that sings original folk songs in the shade of the Indigo Girls -- perhaps the reason they signed to Amy Ray's Daemon Records label. The group's classically trained members harmonize and trade off songwriting duties and a slew of instruments including acoustic guitar, banjo, baritone guitar, djembe and mandolin. Girlyman has been busily touring since the 2007 release of its third studio album "Joyful Sign."
