New York's Ra Ra Riot covers a lot of stylistic ground; from indie dance-punk to mellower tunes ornamented with violin and cello. The group recently toured with Tokyo Police Club and released its debut LP "The Rhumb Line" on Barsuk Records, justifying the healthy amount of buzz that had preceded the album's release. Co-headliners Walter Meego are riding their own wave of hype, having penned that "Forever" song that's incessantly spinning on Heineken commercials. No need to hate on 'em though: the Chicago electro-pop trio has more than earned the respect of the Daft Punk and Air camps.
