Event details

From Signs of Life: Charlie Peacock is known by many as the man who wrote dcTalk's smash hit "In the Light." In fact, writing Contemporary Christian songs is but one small aspect of his considerable talents. He has worked in pop, gospel, jazz, and country music. Charlie's songwriting and production credits include Switchfoot, Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Bela Fleck, Leigh Nash, Al Green, Warren Barfield, Amy Grant, Sixpence None The Richer, Sara Groves, Audio Adrenaline, David Crowder Band, Avalon, dcTalk, Margaret Becker, Twila Paris, CeCe Winans and many others. He is also the author of two books: New Way to Be Human: A Provocative Look at What It Means to Follow Jesus, and At the Crossroads: Inside the Past, Present, and Future of Contemporary Christian Music. Charlie is taking advantage of a one-day break in his current Art Music Justice tour with Sara Groves and Derek Webb to bring us an Intimate Evening of his genre-defying keyboard improvisations and good conversation surrounding art, music, books, and justice. Seating is limited so it is best to purchase tickets in advance.
