Event details

In this exciting year of election-year politics, climate change and economic collapse, the 17th Annual Harvest of Arts Film Festival offers affordable and thought-provoking entertainment at a cost that even CEOs of once-privately owned major banks and insurance companies can afford -- free! This two hour, non-competitive feast of films by area filmmakers will feature experimental films such as Caitlin Horsman's "Themes and Variations for the Naked Eye," comedic narratives like Franco Leng's "Rising Action," music videos such as Alec Joler's take on The Border Band's song "Hombre" and even cross-genre films in the vein of Marc Havener's "And What Remains." All levels of sophistication -- camcorder to high-budget -- are included in the mix.Pre-show festivities and popcorn start at 6:40pm; films roll at 7pm sharp.
