The news of President Harry S. Truman's decision to drop the atomic bomb on Hiroshima is spreading quickly across the globe. On one night in July, you will have the chance to ask the 33rd President of the United States of America about one of the most difficult presidential decisions in history. Niel Johnson's presentation will be a combination of fun, history and drama. Johnson will portray Truman's presidential experiences and take questions from the audience drawing on his expertise of the former president. Johnson was an archivist and oral historian at the Harry S. Truman Library in Independence, Missouri from 1977 to 1992. He is the author of "Power, Money and Women: Words to the Wise from Harry S. Truman." A book signing will follow the program.
