Event details

Nineteen years ago, The Sluggos were conceived in the streets of downtown Wichita as a guitar and drums duo busking for change. Before long, the duo had fleshed out into a full band of amusing pop-rockers that introduced guitarist Wayne Gottstine (years before Split Lip Rayfield). The group disbanded in 1991, but a reunion show a decade later eventually turned into a more substantial reformation in 2005, with Gottstine flanked by Mitch Clay, Doug Van Es, and Michael Carmody.
