Miles Bonny is a romantic dude. He plays trumpet, pens amorous tunes dedicated to his wife and composes beats rife with sexy jazz innuendo. The hyper-productive Kansas City producer and singer will headline tonight's Valentine's Day hip-hop show, performing selections from his recent "Closer Love" EP (see video below). He'll be joined by the full-band incarnation of Archetype, which has been getting mega-mileage out of its "Bleed for Them" LP by re-releasing it on Dekagon Records (a startup Connecticut label with Japanese distro). Johnny Quest will juggle MCing and DJing during his opening set, and Oscar Slugworth will kick the night off with turntable aerobics.
