Event details

Yourself and the Air recently released their full-length debut "Cold Outside Brings Heavy Thoughts to Think." The Chicago, IL, band plays upbeat power rock that loosely resembles Minus the Bear and Modest Mouse. Rarely melodramatic or shoegazey, the quartet makes it a point to bring an energetic live show to the table. They'll be joined by The Noise FM, a polished trio that moved to Lawrence last year after spending their teenage years in Fort Scott. The group's melodic, kick-ass rock tunes take inspiration from Muse and Queens of the Stone Age. A new self-produced LP titled "Night of the Sentinels" foreshadows even better things ahead.
