This Lawrence band is an acoustic four-piece originally from Wichita that purveys powerful country and bluegrass-styled originals. Members Joey Henry, Brook Blanche, Jimijon Hansen, and Patrick Herd sing about drinking and murderin' and love and stuff with a rotating hick-estra of banjo, mandolin, guitar, harmonica, and upright bass. In their spare time, the Cubes enjoy old trucks, simple living, and drinking beer while floating down Kansas Rivers.Opening are The Honky Tonk Devils and Miss Allison Olassa and Company.
