The Eldridge Hotel Gingerbread Festival & Auction is set for 7 p.m. Dec. 10 at The Eldridge Extended, 201 W. Eighth St.; during the 14th annual event, gingerbread houses created and donated by locals will be auctioned to the highest bidders, with proceeds going to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Douglas County.
