Lisa Ling has been hosting the National Geographic documentary series "Explorer" since December 2002. She also files regular dispatches for the Oprah Winfrey Show. She's also known for her stint sharing her no-holds-barred opinions on current events and everyday issues as a co-host of ABC's hit daytime talk show "The View." Prior to "Explorer," Ling fed her sense of adventure as senior war correspondent for Channel One News, visiting violent hot spots around the globe.
