Multisensory Aesthetic Experience (MAE for short) charmed the Jimmy Eat World nation with its 2005 release "The Afterglow." The 130,000-selling Tooth and Nail release offered roaring, poppy modern rock that avoided the cliches of the emo set and fit comfortably into the smallest or largest arenas. The album set the stage for the group's major-label debut "Singularity," recorded with L.A. producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects). The album offers more uber high energy pop rock with explicit intention to pack large venues with singalongs a la Smashing Pumpkins or Pearl Jam.Lawrence musician Nate Harold (formerly of Kelpie and Getaway Driver) joins The Honorary Title as a touring keyboardist and utility man. The Brooklyn outfit began as the singer/songwriter project of Jarrod Gorbel, who scored a big break opening tours for Dashboard Confessional in 2002. Since then, Gorbel has largely ditched his acoustic guitar in favor of spit-polished, high-energy rock tunes reminiscent of Jimmy Eat World.
