Few of the 20,000-ish fans who attended The Flaming Lips' appearance at last year's Wakarusa festival will likely forget that particular evening. The veteran Oklahoma City band's live show has come to rival its Grammy-winning music, with elaborate costumes, puppets, mounds of confetti and frontman Wayne Coyne's man-sized plastic bubble with which he navigates across the audience. Lawrence drummer Kliph Scurlock is still a member of the band.
