Kittie was founded in 1996 by sisters Mercedes and Morgan Lander when they were barely on the cusp of adolescence. Now at the ages of 23 and 25, the sisters have survived numerous lineup changes and tours with Slipknot en route to selling over a million records worldwide. The Ontario-based act is currently touring on its fourth release, "Funeral for Yesterday," which showcases the quartet's knack for pummeling guitar riffs and growling vocals.
