The Kansas City Symphony will perform a concert to benefit music education in Lawrence public schools 7 p.m. Oct. 30 at the Lied Center of Kansas. The concert is part of the symphony's Support School Music program. "Music Works!" has organized the concernt. It is a group that has worked the last two years in establishing an endowed music education fund through the Lawrence Schools Foundation. Tickets cost $10 and are available through the Lied Center box office, 864-2787, or online at www.liedcenter.org/boxoffice.
