Lawrence indie rockers The Jen Say Kwahs will perform new tracks from their upcoming EP to be released in November. The group unites former members of thesistermaria, Percival and The Ice Cream Sandwiches into an alternately poppy and brooding guitar-centric act.Kennedy Luck Club provides an upbeat foundation for lead singer C.J. Calhoun's tales of love and loss. The group recently relocated to Lawrence and cooked up an album's worth of new tunes.Les Somniferes are Lawrence's newest French-friendly act, weaving hints of baroque pop, folk and country into their gentle compositions. The majority of the group's songs are half in French and half in English, as the three founding members -- Anissa Svenson, Rebecca Watts and Kathrine Bogart -- met while studying abroad in France.
