Congressman Lewis is a legendary civil rights activist from the 1960's and has represented Georgia's fifth district in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1987. Since 1991, Lewis has been a leading member of the Democratic caucus. He serves on the House Ways and Mean Committee and is the chairman of its Subcommittee on Oversight.
