This day-long celebration of reading will bring together authors and performers, most with a strong connection to Kansas. Keynote speaker is Jim Lehrer, host of the News Hour on PBS. His new book "Eureka" will be out in October. Other featured authors are Denise Low-Weso, who is Kansas Poet Laureate this year, award-winning children's author Lise Lunge-Larsen, and artist-author Stephen Johnson, a Lawrence native and resident.
