The notion of a two-person rock band would be getting old if acts like The King Khan and BBQ Show didn't pull it off so damn well. Composed of former Spaceshits frontman Mark Sultan and guitarist Blackshake, the duo's retrofitted garage rock would fit comfortably into a Quentin Tarantino movie. It's raw, soulful, lewd -- and you can definitely do the twist to it. But there's a also a punk edge informed by sleazy reverb denizens like The Cramps, and a whole lotta shake-rattle-and-roll to do right by Jerry Lee.
