Event details

In September, Victory Records band Spitalfield announced their retirement-just as soon as they conclude a huge farewell tour. The Chicago band had a good run, touring with bands like Sugarcult and Thursday to spread their hard-driving emo pop to the masses. The band brought a framed picture of their hero Mike Ditka along for sessions at Eudora's Black Lodge Studios, where they cut their second album "Stop Doing Bad Things" with Ed Rose. When it's all said and done, Spitalfield probably won't match the commercial success of their heroes Foo Fighters and Jimmy Eat World-but at least they can say they had a hell of a time trying.
