In recent years, the jam and electronica scenes have meshed thanks to skillful instrumental hybrid acts like Pnuma Trio. The Memphis, TN, band's beat-driven compositions are improvisational dance music for jam fans, hip-hop heads and electronic dance party fanatics alike. The trio describes its latest body of work as "Pac-Man on a rampage, gobbling up Squarepusher discs, washing them down with the atmospheric stylings of LTJ Bukem, and squeezing in a slice of Detroit House for dessert."
