Seattle's The Pharmacy plays lighthearted, full-bodied, sometimes self-mocking pop music a la The Unicorns or Moldy Peaches. The band tours a ton and plays as many offbeat venues as possible, convincing people to buy their wares with invigorating perfromances and an occasional cowbell solo. Opener It's Over is an equally affable bunch from Kansas City-a sort of delectable turkey stuffed with sunshine and Beatles records and songs that are at once dancy, fun and carniverous. Loveable Lawrence townies Boo and Boo set the stage.
