- The Jackpot Music Hall, 943 Mass., Lawrence
- Cost: $5
- Age limit: 21+
Lawrence's Sterilize Stereo is relocating to Portland, where they'll presumably do what they do here but with less people watching (JK ... LOL!). The band's vaudevillian folk cabaret will be sorely missed, though the band will presumably swing through now and again while touring or move back in six months when they get sick of all those tree-huggers. Either way, best of luck to the Sterilize Stereo crew and may the spirit of Tom Waits be with you. This farewell show features top-notch support from California's Vermillion Lies (who kind of sound like The Ditty Bops but more depressed) and Tennessee's Juan Prophet Organization (Mr. Bungley cabaret) as well as Lawrence's own Lonnie Fisher and The Funeral.
