Jaybowl and Royal Crest Lanes, in conjunction with Ultimate Sports Enterprises, will be local hosts of "Strike against Cancer'" to benefit the "V" Foundation for Cancer Research from 10 a.m. to midnight, on Dec. 8. Bowling centers across the nation will donate one dollar for every lane rented on this day to help fund the effort to eradicate Cancer.The "V" Foundation was founded by ESPN and Jim Valvano in his quest to eradicate the disease that ultimately claimed his life. Ultimate Sports Enterprises is a diversified company that deals with many aspects of the sports industry including charitable events.
