Multisensory Aesthetic Experience (MAE for short) charmed the Jimmy Eat World nation with its 2005 release "The Afterglow." The 130,000-selling Tooth and Nail release offered roaring, poppy modern rock that avoided the cliches of the emo set and fit comfortably into the smallest or largest arenas. The album set the stage for the group's recent major-label debut "Singularity," recorded with L.A. producer Howard Benson (My Chemical Romance, The All-American Rejects). The album offers more uber high energy pop rock with explicit intention to pack large venues with singalongs a la Smashing Pumpkins or Pearl Jam.
