Event details

The Go is a first-rate garage rock band from Detroit that was good enough to employ Jack White for two years prior to his formation of White Stripes. Borrowing liberally from classic R&B, soul and psychedelia, the group's fourth album, "Howl on the Haunted Beat You Ride," could just as easily have been released 30 years ago. T-Rex, David Bowie and The New York Dolls echo all across the disc, which was recorded artfully in a suburban basement and produced by lead singer Bobby Harlow. The Go joins The Rich Boys and Parastrika at 10 p.m. today at The Replay Lounge, 946 Mass.
