The Beltholes have grand sense of humor, billing their music as a mash-up of "Boogie, Hi-Fi, Punk Revival, British Trad Rock, Latin, Cowpunk, Hair Metal, Arena Rock, Glitter-Blues, Surf, Acid Folk, Country Swing, Yacht Rock and Clown-Core." In truth, The Beltholes are just a fun, classically fashioned rock-and-roll band with a soft spot for eclectic tunesmiths like Todd Rundgren, Big Star and The dB's. The group's debut record "For Whom the Beltholes" brought ex-Fastbacks guitarist Kurt Bloch into the fold, which, according to the band, "easily and undeniably creates the best rock band in the history of music." Don't believe the hype, but do make an effort to check out what's sure to be a fun show.
