"An Army of One" tells the story of a patriotic young American returning from a tour of duty in Iraq and suffering the onset of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Written by Topeka native Zacory N. Boatright, the play is a collaborative effort of University Theatre and English Alternative Theatre that touches on wartime issues such as patriotism, honor and duty as well as the needs of veterans. The production is directed by Paul Hough, a KU alumnus and director of production for the American Heartland Theatre in Kansas City, Mo. This is an encore performance of "An Army of One" to raise money to perform it in Fargo, ND and hopefully go on to even bigger stages.
