Since 1961, 15 men associated with the Boy Scouts in Kansas have been removed from the organization for alleged sexual abuse. Many more have pending cases, according to more than 14,500 court documents outlining decades of abuse in the Scouts released by Oregon attorney Kelly Clark. The Los Angeles Times was one of several news organizations to publish the papers and the complaints made against individuals.
