KU Medical Center examines its interaction with pharmaceutical companies April 29, 2008
In January, Kansas University Medical Center presented a draft proposal that would change the way pharmaceutical companies can interact with students, faculty and staff of the School of Medicine.
AAMC recommends ban on gifts from pharmaceutical companies April 29, 2008
The American Association of Medical Colleges Sunday released this report which examines the problem of pharmaceutical companies delivering generous gifts to physicians. In the report, it recommended academic medical centers, like Kansas University Medical Center, ban students, faculty and staff from accepting gifts from these companies.

Supplemental Note on House Concurrent Resolution No. 5037 April 4, 2008
HCR 5037 would propose an amendment to the Kansas Constitution. Specifically, the Resolution would place before the voters of the State a proposition to amend the Kansas Bill of Rights to preserve constitutionally the right of the public to hunt, fish, and trap wildlife subject to the governing laws and regulations. The right of the public to hunt, fish, and trap would not modify any provision of common law or statutes relating to trespass, eminent domain, or any other private property rights.
