On Opinion: Anti-NSA backlash threatens Internet

Snowden is not the problem.

Illegal spying on international leadership is the fault of government for not paying attention to what the NSA is doing. What do members of a congressional oversight committee do with their time?

Turning the nations surveillance activities to private industry is simply reckless and misuse of tax dollars.

Citizen consumers PAY for internet services and we had nothing to do with the illegal spying. Snowden revealed a government agency breaking the law so how is Snowden the criminal?

Now the NSA had the information about 9/11/01 but for some reason failed to disseminate the data to the responsible agencies according to radio news. For what reason the public has yet to be advised. Members of the FBI were asking about this group of terrorists however received no green lights to penetrate or intervene. What do members of a congressional oversight committee do with their time?

Perhaps it is time for the NSA and private industry surveillance activities to be defunded. Too many chiefs and not enough indians. What do members of a congressional oversight committee do with their time?

Consumers should never lose internet service because of a government screw up. My best guess politicians do not like citizens access to information.
