"Jonathan Williams is director of the Center for State and Fiscal Reform with the American Legislative Exchange Council." Are tax dollars paying for his hotel room?

What's the matter with Kansas? People who vote against their own self interest. Brownback and Kobach are interested only in dissolving government, not in their constituents' well being.

First Arthur Laffler, whose "trickle down" theories are exemplified in the long-discredited "Laffler Curve.

And now this clown.

Who is this guy? His academic credentials are so mediocre that there is no mention of his educational background on his biographical page at the ALEC website. Had to do a little digging on the web to find that this "distinguished" economist’s sole academic credential is an undergraduate degree from Northwood University. Anybody ever hear of that place? Apparently it's a third tier university in Midland Michigan that didn't even exist until 1961. Not exactly Ivy League, or for that matter, Big 12 caliber.

Looks like our esteemed legislature has already received marching orders from the Kochs to cut taxes for the wealthy even further and this is the best "expert" Koch money could buy.

ALEC Right Wing Party is posing as the republican party which is fraudulent representation of the GOP.

Rather than serve the public interest, ALEC champions the agenda of corporations which are willing to pay for access to legislators and the opportunity to write their very own legislation.

It helps surrogates and lobbyists for corporations to draft and promote bills which:

• gut environmental laws

• create a regressive tax system

• eliminate workers’ rights = lower wages

• undermine universal and affordable health care

• privatize public education

• chip away at voting rights.

Where Did The GOP go? It died at the hands of Koch Industries, Walton Family money, AMWAY family money(DeVoss), John Birch,Pete Peterson,Extreme Fundamentalists, Xe/Blackwater - Prinz family money etc etc etc

What is the GOP? John Birch Society - ALEC - Anti American - The Tea Party = it's all four. http://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php/SourceWatch

ALEC and Supply Side Economics has done a fine job over the past 33 years of keeping USA economic growth suppressed and pushing USA jobs out of the USA.

What is the opposite of ALEC? - People for the American Way http://www.pfaw.org/issues
