Good column by Pitts, very logical and sensible. Quite a contrast with Simon's Saturday column.

And, of course, if Hillary Clinton had been elected president and signed the Affordable Care Act into law, there would have been no Tea Party movement and no opposition to the ACA in 2013. Sure, Leonard.

As far as socialism, numerous Democrats are on record saying that their ultimate goal if single payer. Obama himself voiced support for single payer just a few years ago. They see the ACA as merely part of the incremental transition to single payer and other forms of socialism.
