Topeka Zoo to host Lawrence Day
---finally! ... next to the zebras, elephants, and monkeys, the Topeka zoo will have exhibits of ... Lawrencians.
will that ol' 'honk for hemp' guy be thar?
The elephants are behind this!
Don't fall for it! This is clearly an attempt to round up the people of Lawrence into one large fenced in location, replete with wild animals, to eliminate the last blue spot in the state from the map.
That zoo keeps losing its accreditation due to mistreatment of the animals. I wonder if they finally cleaned up their act?
Will you need an ID if they can tell you're from Lawrence?
This has been a bad Summer for movies, there are not any I want to see, so I had a difficult time answering the question. Lawrence needs a zoo. Topeka is a zoo.
answering the question over the alternative of paying is an easy choice, just wish google would at least get their internet and TV to Lawrence sooner because of it.
In the spirit of Lawrence, here's a list of items they need for donations, too.
I wonder if a KU employee ID would be accepted.
I hate that I have to answer questions to read articles, and completely lie out of spite.
All those ID requirements are clearly an effort to disenfranchise the poor, elderly and minorities from visiting the zoo at a discount.
